Poclain MS05-0-D24 Wheel Motor with Brake (Winch, Conveyor Drive) New Unused
This is a twin displacement, high torque/low speed, piston motor with integral park brake (not a dynamic brake). This motor was brought in for evaluation on a research project for military unmanned vehicles. It was never used, never mounted nor connected.
It can be used as a final drive for slow off-road vehicles, winches, conveyor drives, etc. There is one cosmetic flaw to point out (see the last 2 pics).
The casting of the mount has porosity and I broke out a loose chip while examining it. You can see in the pictures that the back has paint on it and the front has undisturbed machining marks in it so it is porosity and not caused by mishandling. I have to assume the porosity in the casting passed Poclain's QC and the internals are fine. This is a very heavy duty motor. We will crate and load on the carrier of your choice.
